Next Mile Meals is a small business that hasn’t existed for a long time, however we tried their meals during a recent trip to Chile’s Parque Patagonia. We came away amazed by the taste as well as the quality of ingredients, and also the fast cooking time. As Heather’s Choice mentioned above, Next Mile Meals actually are like real food, and isn’t much of an unexpected surprise when you look at the ingredients listed. The ketogenic meals cut down on carbohydrates and include high-calorie and nutrient-rich foods such as vegetables, meat and cheese. The result is an amazing 142 calories in an ounce this is among the most accurate calories-per-weight figures available.

Our biggest complaint regarding Next Mile is the price that is $14 for one serving of the pouch and, at just 39 calories for every dollar They’re not an exceptional value (for comparison, Backpacker’s Pantry meals offer more than twice the amount of calories for each dollar). Also, you don’t have several choices for meals, seven at the time of publication–but we’re expecting more in the future. Also, Next Mile Meals are most effective within a year after purchasing, while the condiments are limited to a 180-day shelf time. They’re an excellent choice for calorific content and it definitely will not hurt the fact that Next Mile Meals are also natural and delicious.
