The Wagontop 4P is another creative and thoughtful tent design from NEMO. The interior space is great with a high ceiling at the entrance. This unique design outperforms dome-shaped tents in terms headroom. There’s also a hubbed pole structure and near-vertical walls. An optional garage accessory can be added for additional storage. Add fun panoramic windows to the tent and an optional Victory Blanket (sold separate) and you’ve got a fully-featured camping tent.

What are the disadvantages of the NEMO Wagontop? The four-person version costs $550, which is a substantial $175 more than the TNF Wawona. And the six-person version goes up to $700 (compared to the $475 Wawona 6.). The Wagontop’s vertical design makes it not ideal for high winds nights. A tent such as the REI Base Camp is a better choice. The Wagontop’s single-wall construction is easier to set up than its double-wall counterparts, but it doesn’t ventilate as well (although the large windows help with this). The NEMO is a fantastic option for those who value livability and quality build.
