The Big Agnes Big House is a well-named interior space that offers great value at an affordable price. The Big House boasts 83 square feet of living space and features such as ample storage, a front mat to store dirty shoes and shade, as well as a variety of other premium options like the REI Wonderland 6, Marmot Limestone 6P and The North Face Wawona 6. The Big House stands tall with its sidewalls rising aggressively up to an impressive height of 81 inches for the six-person model. This extra space can cause a sail-like effect when the wind blows, so stake it out fully and use the guylines.

The Big House tent’s mesh and polyester ripstop panels make it a great ventilator. There are two doors on all versions and the price is solid at $480 for the six-person version and $400 for four people. The standard rainfly doesn’t cover the front door so you miss the vestibule. You can purchase the vestibule accessory as an additional $140. Big Agnes also sells the Bunk House 6, which costs $600, but includes a full-coverage fly with an awning-style door and vestibule that can double as a vestibule or hangout space. It can also be staked out as an accessory to the dog house as a shade. The Dog House 6 is a smaller camping tent that Big Agnes offers, but it has one wall and only one door. This saves you $100.
