It’s important to note that AlpineAire dishes sound delectable. With names such as Al Pastor with Cilantro Lime Rice, Cheese Enchilada Ranchero, and Tuscan Grilled Chicken Alfredo, it’s almost like ordering food from an establishment. They also have a wide range of options for special diets: vegetarian, low-sodium, vegan, vegetarian Gluten-free, cholesterol-free and all-natural. The attractive packaging provides information about the ingredients, serving sizes and nutritional information. These pouches can be flat, and easily packable and the main meals are just as quick to prepare in the same way as Mountain House meals. At a price that is surprisingly low, AlpineAire seems like the all-in-one package.

However, the flavor of AlpineAire meals doesn’t live to the quality of their meals. Maybe their labels and names make for unrealistic expectations, or perhaps mixing healthy ingredients and the short cooking time can overwhelm the flavor. Whatever the reason it is, we have found that AlpineAire dinners are usually extremely bland or so spiced that they’re difficult to consume. If you come across one that you like, stay with it. In the event that you don’t, the pouch meals above are much better tasting and are more calorically dense.
